I realized that today is the last day of the month of February. Where did it go? Why is it that the lack of two additional days makes it feel so short? And why don't they think of a clever way to say it instead of tacking it hurriedly on the end of an otherwise simple rhyme?
Thirty days hath September,
April, May, and November.
All the rest have thirty-one ...
except for February.
